Set Of Vases Art Deco De La Faïencerie Wasmuël

Very nice set of 3 pieces. A covered pot and two vases. The cracked art deco bearing the amc stamp are the best known achievements of the wasmuël earthenware factory. This family of pieces includes potiches flanked by matching vases, stocky flower spikes and a series of other decorative vases of various sizes. All this set is of a distinctly modern spirit. The collected silhouettes and the sided shapes are in the spotlight; but there are also forms derived from the sphere and some more slender profiles. Decorative motifs very present based on highly stylized or even geometric floral elements most often cover this type of ceramic. Amc marking at the base. Art deco circa 1930. 34 cm highest.
