Brutalist glazed ceramic bowl on feet

Glazed ceramic bowl on feet – brutalist style / artist's studio. A unique piece with a strong character, this low bowl with three feet features a spectacular glaze with blue-green, milky white and brown highlights. The deliberately expressive irregular rim and almost volcanic texture evoke the free gesture of studio pottery from the 50s-70s in the spirit of Vallauris, Accolay or Capron. Mounted on three feet, it can be used as a pocket emptier, decorative bowl or centerpiece. Dimensions: Diameter: 19 cm. Height: 8.5 cm. Weight: approx. 1.2 kg. Very good condition. Glaze in superb condition, slightly scratched base under the feet (invisible once placed). Unsigned piece but clearly handmade. Origin: France, 20th century studio pottery. Technique: wheel-thrown ceramic, brush and run-off glazing.
