Straw marquetry nesting tables

Three nesting tables made from straw marquetry with sun motif. These 3 nesting tables are made with 3 different shades of blue for a subtle gradient in each of them. The sun motif in straw marquetry is certainly the most famous motif, dating back to the art deco period, because it captures the light and each ray illuminates independently creating unique reflections and depth. The trays are worked with a rounded edge to further extend the suns on the sides, delicately dying. They are delicately placed on a gold steel base to enhance the blue tones.
