Vintage terrestrial globe 1961 world map Taride Paris - 33 cm

Vintage cardboard and aluminium world map by Taride “Philips Chalenge Globes” from 1961 in good condition. The cardboard globe is intact although slightly marked at the equator in the Atlantic Ocean near West Africa. The map is otherwise in superb condition, with very beautiful and vibrant colours. It is dated and signed. The aluminium base resembles the Art Deco globes by Girard and Barrère, and it is impeccable. This elegant retro piece measures 36cm in height, with a globe diameter of 24cm.
