Maison Lecan presents this farmhouse table made of solid oak, an old dough trough, France, circa 1920. Originally designed for kneading bread, with a deep compartment hidden beneath the removable top, this piece has endured over a century before being reimagined as a dining table. The transformation is natural: the height, format, and sturdiness of the construction lend themselves perfectly. The removable top in solid oak, with a pronounced grain and dark patina, rests on four slightly tapered square-section legs, connected by a low stretcher. A straightforward construction, without ornamentation. Restored in our workshop, with a satin varnish finish. Height under the apron is 63 cm. A piece with a readable history, solid and direct. Reference LDP: 20260511-001. Dimensions: L164 × D70 × H78 cm, height under the apron 63 cm.
