This French ironstone features a beautiful and unusual dark teal pattern, mixed with wonderful time-worn colours. Made by Salins, the sauce boat is distinguished by its central emblem of a dragon in the centre of the bowl. The theme of the dragon and crown continues in the border, alternating with the "F" of François I. Heavy and very durable earthenware in very good condition considering its age.
