Cesare Lacca, Italian cabinetmaker of rolling trolleys

Cesare Lacca is an Italian designer active in the 1940s and 50s, whose production of bent wood furniture remains one of the most identifiable signatures of Italian post-war design. Specialising in rolling trolleys, multi-tray coffee tables and occasional furniture, he signed for Cassina and several Milanese publishers a production where laminated bent wood composes graphic and functional silhouettes. His two-tray oval trolley remains one of the most collected Italian vintage pieces on the European market.

Cesare Lacca rolling trolleys in bent wood and multi-tray coffee tables remain the designer's most identifiable pieces. Italian vintage furniture to find for those wanting a rare and refined Milanese signature.
