Rocking chair, rocking chair, lullaby. Rare model thonet no.401 whose production period extends from 1903 to 1911 ca. Many ornamental details among the solid woods and veneers, curved, turned, engraved, carved, buttoned. Completed by a wood background whose pyrograved decoration is one of the very first "intarsia" at thonet (no.4 then no. 304 in the catalogue). --- beautiful state of preservation and domestic maintenance- superb patina of origin "cherry" (merisier) with all the natural nuances of age and use.
