A Scandinavian design classic, this beech rocking chair is in the style of the renowned Finnish designer ilmari tapiovaara, who drew inspiration from traditional Finnish chairs before applying his own modern design approach to this creation. The slatted backrest, lacquered in black like the frame and the arched glides, is built using an age-old method and contrasts strikingly with the smooth, slightly rounded modern curves of the contoured seat in varnished natural wood.
