Bourgne, an old basket shop typical of the charentais country, pantry in braided straw, this basket, filled with grain, was once used to preserve fruits (pears, apples) and other everyday foods such as eggs. Spiral basketry, with grain straw spires sewn by strands of brambles in splints, texture-in-full / circular-plane object with a spherical belly. Heavy and robust panière.
