Here is a watercolor on paper representing "el kantara in the red village", it was made by andré casabonne (nineteenth-twentieth). Renowned watercolorist, andré casabonne settled in algiers in 1922, from there, he traveled to tunis, gabes, carthage, biskra. He painted views of tunisia and algeria which he exhibited in oran and algiers. The work has its frame of orientalist origin of beautiful craftsmanship. Unfortunately, there is no longer any protective glass. The work is in good general condition, however, we report small freckles and small deformations in the margin.
