Table screen in Exotic Wood, Mother of Pearl inlay, China early XX th

Sublime miniature chinese screen in exotic wood with fine mother-of-pearl inlay. Lower parts of the panels highlighting terrestrial scenes of horseback riders and dog of po, symbols of strong and conquering imperial china. The presence of sages and phoenix birds on the upper parts, present to them, celestial scenes with a spiritual vocation. Note, a lack of mother-of-pearl on the left leaf, highlighted in a photo. The 4 leaves were kept cleanly in the last century, in the back face, probably in sight, of a wall fixing.
