Old and rare educational painting, painted by Professor Ludwig Michalek, published by Deutscher Verlag für Jugend und Volk, Ges. m. b. H., Vienna and Leipzig. Of course, lithography is an extremely demanding technique - especially at this large scale - that required 15 to 20 manual printing cycles for a single piece because each color had to be applied separately. These colors of course did not have to overlap in the end. This process is what gives lithographs their extraordinary depth and unusual longevity to their colors. Dimensions: 67cm wide x 92 cm high | 27 "wide x 39" high Condition: This vintage item has visible damage, defects or small missing pieces. Some wrinkles, rigidity and tanning but overall very good condition considering its age and use.
