Vintage pitcher that is directed by the famous french Potter Jacques Blin in the 1950s. Known for his style of engraving or soft sculpture of exotic birds, primitive animals, abstract objects and shapes in raw clay before applying his foggy and cloudy glaze, this piece reflects her unique style. It has a beautiful greenish beige-mixed to the charcoal, carved with images of exotic birds and a decorative motif stipple at the top, the middle and the base. The pitcher is signed "J Blin". Ceramic is in excellent original condition. There are two small marks on the base, but that does not affect its functionality or beauty. Both artwork collectible and desirable, this piece will supplement a modern atmosphere of the middle of the century.
