Shelf rimmed brass circa 1920

Sublime old shelves, wood and brass (bronze?). The wood appears to be a gas exotic, heavy and dense, a warm brown (a few scratches and stains: see photo) It is circled by a band of brass (bronze?) of 1.5 cm. Weight 1.7 kg Beautiful swirls under the shelf. The shelf is in its own juice (presence of green gray and rust especially on hardware) but the structure is still exceptionally strong and ready to resume service. I try to describe the particularities (negative or positive) of this object at best and in all honesty, however do not hesitate to contact me if you want any other details or photos I could omit; I am happy to respond as soon as possible. This object has crossed a few decades, so it bears the traces of his experiences and the soul of those who possessed him...
