Old sewing machine manual Original Victoria - issue 3 - model manufactured by Mundlos & Co., Magdeburg in Germany between 1894 and 1900. Equipped with its transport box of dimensions 46.5 X 21.5, height 27 cm, impeccable, which closes key. The "Mundlos & Schulz" company was founded in Magdeburg-N in 1863. Initially, its machines were based on the principles of "Singer" and "Howe". In 1882, the company launches its first sewing machine: Victoria. In 1896, Mundlos recorded the Original Victoria name as a trade-mark. 271092 serial number is stamped on the rear slide plate. The mount cradle is equipped with the "Roll Top" cover with pin cushion. The trademark brass shows a picture of Heinrich Mundlos. The central coat of arms was that of a schooner at sea, there only the trace in mother of Pearl. This machine is part of a special series produced for the Eglinsdorfer of Colmar - machinery dealers - brothers, German city at that time... The House of the brothers is located in the old city of Colmar 3 the Resistance Martyrs square. They owned there 2 buildings with retail on the ground floor and the second 'Valhalla' with a room to learn to ride a bike. Very nice object with a lot of history. On the dark pink background image, you can see advertising made by the brothers for the machine. Currently on Colmar but the machine can be delivered by hand on 92190 Meudon to during the month of January 2019.
