Machine sewing manual and Original portable, Victoria from 1894

Old sewing machine manual Original Victoria - issue 3 - model manufactured by Mundlos & Co., Magdeburg in Germany between 1894 and 1900. Equipped with its transport box of dimensions 46.5 X 21.5, height 27 cm, impeccable, which closes key. The "Mundlos & Schulz" company was founded in Magdeburg-N in 1863. Initially, its machines were based on the principles of "Singer" and "Howe". In 1882, the company launches its first sewing machine: Victoria. In 1896, Mundlos recorded the Original Victoria name as a trade-mark. 271092 serial number is stamped on the rear slide plate. The mount cradle is equipped with the "Roll Top" cover with pin cushion. The trademark brass shows a picture of Heinrich Mundlos. The central coat of arms was that of a schooner at sea, there only the trace in mother of Pearl. This machine is part of a special series produced for the Eglinsdorfer of Colmar - machinery dealers - brothers, German city at that time... The House of the brothers is located in the old city of Colmar 3 the Resistance Martyrs square. They owned there 2 buildings with retail on the ground floor and the second 'Valhalla' with a room to learn to ride a bike. Very nice object with a lot of history. On the dark pink background image, you can see advertising made by the brothers for the machine.
