Armchairs (pair) Wassily, also known as the model B3 Chair, was designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925-26, while he was the head of the Bauhaus cabinetmaking workshop in Dessau, Germany. Breuer, like many of his colleagues, is an architect and designer of furniture. This Chair was revolutionary in the use of materials (curved tubular steel and canvas) and manufacturing methods. It is said that Breuer was inspired by the handlebars of his bicycle for the use of steel tubes to build the Chair. This armchair has become over time a great classic of modern design. Some peaks on chrome and slightly damaged dubbing in some places (under armrests and underseat) but the leather is in good condition. (see photos). Total height 74 cm ; Width 78 cm ; Depth 70 cm ; Seated dimension: 53 "x 43".
