SAINT-LOUIS, Massenet. Tapered Rhine wine carafe, lined-cut crystal.

SAINT-LOUIS | Rhine wine carafe with circular section in a tapered shape, in clear blown Crystal and mauve lined in Underlayment. Cold-cut décor of a frieze of crossbones, palm leaves and starry motifs; edge of the collar with cut sections; hot-hemed lip spillway, topped with its original pyramid CAP in moulded translucent Crystal, with an internal interior design of an air bubble. Reverse of the rosacé base. Model "Massenet", created at the dawn of the twentieth century, in 1895... and, ever since, always in the catalogue! Production prior to 1936, not having a signature, but model illustrated and listed in various commercial works or boards (Saint-Louis, 1930). Circa. 1900 | MEASUREMENTS: covered height, 42.00 cm; base height (without CAP), 30.50 cm; diameter at base, 09.75 cm | CONDITION report: excellent general condition, crystal clear, pure and unaltered (tiny leap of material on one of the edges of the CAP, very little visible).
