Set of 6 small dessert Gien earthenware dishes, hand - Peony pattern painted. They date back years 1941-1950 (see mark on the back of each plate). This famous decoration is developed by Jean Bertholle, at the request of the president of the Republic, Vincent Auriol, to adorn the tables of hunting of the castle of Rambouillet. Plates in very good condition, splinter or crack.
