Juju purple hat of 90 cm

This headdress of feathers associated with the tribe of the Bamileke of Cameroon, is also called Juju Hat or Aka. This symbol of prosperity is supposed to possess the qualities of birds which she wears feathers. It is used traditionally by the dancers during important ceremonies. The CAP is made of chicken or wild birds, feather tinted or not, fixed on a support of woven raffia and that can be unfolded by pulling on strap leather on the back in an amazing circular hat. The CAP can be bent-shaped basket, taking very little place with feathers carefully protected inside. Hanging on a wall, it becomes a very beautiful object of interior decoration, colorful and original. It measures 90 cm in diameter.
