Alsace sandstone vase

Very nice vase in Alsatian sandstone stamped "Grès d'Alsace A Drouillaux Coroy La Roche" below. Amphora shape. Vase made by the master ceramist Antoine Drouillaux between 1983 and 1988 during his presence in Alsace where he set up during this period a unit for the production of works of art in Alsatian sandstone. Very beautiful decorative element, hand painted blue floral decoration on one side and geometric decoration on the back. Very good condition! Dimensions: height 15.5 cm, neck diameter 9.5 cm, body diameter 11 cm, base diameter 8.5 cm, depth 14 cm. weight approx. 600 g.
