Rest assured, this lamp is not a killer of century-old turtles. It is only content to imitate tortoiseshell using much less natural materials. The chrome-plated metal cylinder is covered with a thick layer of imitation tortoiseshell plastic. The lampshade is in the same material, which is rather rare. In general, on lamps from this period (1970), the lampshades are damaged, holed, broken, tired, worn, missing... here it is in perfect condition, like the lamp which illuminates with a slightly orange light. A lamp that is quite chic while being a bit vulgar, which is, you will agree, always a rather exciting mix! Size of the turtle lamp: Height 60 cm, lampshade diameter 34 cm.
