Vase Workshop of the Old Mill

The Vieux Moulin workshop was located above the current museum in Vallauris. It was a large building and three young people (Dominique Baudart, Robert Pérot and Jean-Claude Malarmey) launched production in the 1950s. They built a wood-fired kiln, which gave great sensitivity to the enamels that varied according to their position in the kiln. This vase is typical of their production and it was probably JC Malarmey who created the decoration.
