Baumann desk revisited

This lovely desk of the Baumann house, told me its story during its renovation. It has been damaged by several successive paintings. I therefore completely stripped and varnish for the wood part. Some parts of her small body have been painted gray storm to erase small wounds and others for more harmony. I told you that he had told me about his life ... quite happy, because when he wanted to repaint his locker in winter gray, he simply refused, and persisted in bringing out those ink spots that reminded him good memories, that's also why you can see on one of the side that I just varnished to leave them apparent. Once stripped, I realized that the hole for the inkwell had leaked a lot of ink and wrote many beautiful stories ... I did not have the heart to erase these slices of life go through there it is therefore protected by varnish. Its tray is inclined but can be put flat thanks to 2 supports inside the locker.
