Design portmanteau

A coat / hat and a shoe in the form of Tepee rare and hard to find. I found them in Belgium. Because of its forms and its playful colors, it always reminds me the painter Joan Miró's work. The hanger has a cast iron painted red with 11 balls of brass colored in green and white. The only reference to this hard to find rack is in the book 50 interiors. It was the first book on the design of the middle of the century and the 1950s written in Belgium. Although this book is fairly well described and illustrated, no one could know who did this tipi coat.
