Lithograph of an old fashion engraving by Claude Louis Desrais from 1785. Antique engraving enhanced with colors from the end of the 18th century from the "Gallerie des Modes et Costumes Français" (one of the first fashion periodicals founded in 1778). Two hairstyles presented come from plate n°2 - 13th series of fashionable hairstyles in 1785: "Chapeau à la Nouvelle France" and "Chapeau à la Gremonville". The 3rd is difficult to read because of the streaks: "Nightcap and ** à la Venus **". Recent frame with glass and wooden rods gilded with gold leaf. Frame dimensions: 25.5x19 cm.
