Vintage pewter cat knife holder - Benjamin Rabier style

This curious animal knife holder is made of pewter. In the shape of a cat, it allows you to place the serving knife without staining the tablecloth. In the style of benjamin rabier, it is a stylized cat. Marked “deposited” below, it measures 10 cm X 3.8 cm in height. I point out traces of use (scratches and oxidation).
