Vintage suspension with a rise-and-fall system, featuring a bright orange opaline shade and an adjustable black mechanism. Typical work from the 1970s, in the spirit of Italian or German design from the Space Age period. The translucent orange hue diffuses a warm light that is very characteristic of seventies interiors. Dimensions: shade diameter: 25 cm. shade height: 21 cm. adjustable height up to approximately 130 cm. Operation: The rise-and-fall system allows for easy adjustment of the suspension height according to use: low above a table, higher for general lighting. The knob located on the counterweight is used to adjust the tension of the mechanism: tightening keeps the suspension stable at the chosen height, loosening slightly allows the cable to slide more freely for height adjustment. Condition: Very good overall vintage condition. Opaline without any chips observed in the photos. Normal wear present on some metal parts and on the spiral textile cable, consistent with age. Dating: 1970s. Ideal location: above a round table, vintage kitchen, reading nook, seventies interior, café or shop with a retro theme. A suspension that seems to have come out of a film where everyone smoked in corduroy under psychedelic orange light. Price: €145.
