Wooden table

Very old wooden table currently painted black. This table was acquired by my great grandfather in the Somme, in Proyart around 1890. This table, as shown by its many wrinkles and scars, has been variously used: dining table, changing, set up, shelf in a cellar... It had become an office, my office, when I was a child. It was made by a village carpenter and is still very robust despite its age. His tray is marked with claws and nicks (photos), traces of his life of toil.
