Elegant service of 6 antique oyster plates made of faience, produced by the Faience Manufacture of Pornic (MBFA) in the 1960s/70s. These plates marked Quiberon were part of the iconic souvenirs from Breton seaside resorts. Each piece features 6 wells for oysters and a central medallion with a different textured pattern for lemon, adorned with hand-painted floral decor in vibrant shades: red flowers, green foliage, and a cobalt blue speckled rim in a reimagined Quimper style. Diameter 25 cm. In good condition, with a shiny glaze, no chips, a rare complete set to find today. An ideal and rare complete set for elegantly setting a seaside table or for a charming retro wall decoration. A striking piece for a chic seaside atmosphere and vintage Breton cottage style.
