Elegant set of 6 antique earthenware oyster plates, made by the Manufacture de Faïence de Pornic (MBFA) in the 1960s and 1970s. These Quiberon-branded plates were iconic souvenirs of Breton seaside resorts. Each piece features 6 oyster shells and a central medallion with a different textured pattern for the lemon, with a hand-painted floral decoration in vibrant hues: red flowers, green foliage, and a cobalt blue speckled rim in a revisited Quimper style. Diameter 25 cm. Beautiful condition, glossy glaze, no chips, a complete set that's rare to find today. An ideal and rare complete set for elegantly setting a seaside table or for wall decoration full of retro charm. A statement piece for a chic seaside ambiance and vintage Breton cottage.
