Napoleon III console in walnut and white marble

Elegant Napoleon III period console in walnut, resting on a richly worked volute base. The piece features a beautiful flame walnut veneer as well as a carved decoration of flowers and foliage on the uprights. The top is surmounted by a veined white marble with flowing contours. The console also has two curved stretchers that provide a lovely decorative presence. In very good condition with signs of age consistent with its years: small losses and wear to the veneer, some scratches and chips on the marble visible in the photos. Stable and solid structure.
