Set of 12 antique French faience plates, elegantly mismatched around a common floral theme in raspberry pink tones. The composition includes: – 4 plates from the Faïencerie de Gien, model Lorraine. – 2 plates from KG Lunéville. – 1 antique Lunéville plate adorned with a hand-painted floral bouquet in delicate naturalism characteristic of the mid-19th century. A finely executed small insect enlivens the scene, in the spirit of the so-called "insect" services, popular during the reign of Louis-Philippe and the Second Empire. – 5 other hand-painted or unmarked antique floral plates. Crimson tulips, powdered roses, blue flowers, and green foliage create a harmonious palette on an ivory background, sometimes highlighted with a raspberry border. The ensemble evokes those Parisian tables where each piece has been individually chosen, while maintaining the softness of a refined guesthouse. Diameters: 3 plates at 18.5 cm, 2 at 22 cm, and 7 at 24 cm. Overall in beautiful vintage condition. Fine age-related cracks on some pieces, two plates have small chips on the rim (see photos).
