Corner shelf wicker, rattan and wood

This lovely corner shelf, also called a notch, just needed a little brush stroke to start a new life. The trays, made of plywood, had a somewhat dated, dull appearance. I had already repainted them (in red!) a few years ago for personal use. I just repainted them in yellow (paint "relook meuble" color "vintage yellow" brand déco solutions, classified a + in terms of emissions into the air, made in france), then I passed a light layer of matte colorless varnish. And I must admit that this new color suits him perfectly! It highlights wicker. It is on the photos of the entire piece of furniture that the colors (especially yellow) best reflect reality. Unlike the photos of the shelves where the yellow is much duller and pale than in reality. During the first revisit, I had also slightly sanded and revarnished the parts where the old varnish was peeling. It is equipped with felt pads. This shelf is still very solid and stable, but obviously shows signs of its age: some spots, marks and various stripes, the wood of dressing of the gondola trays slightly in two or three places. It is 89 cm high, both sides of the angle are 36 cm deep. It weighs about 5 kg.
