A minimalist Bauhaus icon, this elegant TC 100 teapot/coffee pot was designed by Hans (Nick) Roericht in 1959 at the Ulm School of Design and introduced into production by Thomas Germany in 1962. Celebrated for its clean cylindrical form, stackable functionality, and signature coloured dot indicating lid placement, it is a benchmark of German mid-century modern design. This version has a capacity of approximately 650 ml and is part of the iconic TC 100 stacking tableware series. Designed by Hans Roericht. Produced by Thomas Germany (Rosenthal Group) Capacity: approx. 650 ml. Marked "Thomas, Germany" on the underside. Included in the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York. Condition: Good vintage condition. The spout has a small, stable natural firing crack (glaze/manufacturing crack) that does not affect functionality. The underside of the lid has a break to the inner rim, which is completely hidden when the lid is in place. Aside from these minor imperfections consistent with age, the piece presents beautifully. A timeless collector's piece, perfect for lovers of modernist porcelain, Bauhaus, mid-century design, and Thomas/Rosenthal tableware. REF 26084.
