Antique black lacquered wooden coupe with gold decoration - late 19th century

Black lacquered wooden bowl with golden floral decoration, Southeast Asian work, late 19th – early 20th century. Covered in black lacquer, adorned with a finely executed hand-painted floral design in gold. Traditional handcrafted work, showing a beautiful patina of time. Dimensions: diameter 24 cm; height 8.5 cm. Condition: signs of wear to the lacquer, small cracks and visible losses (see photos), contributing to the charm of the object. Ideal as a centrepiece or decorative item.
