Wall shelf, straw marquetry

Back from a flea market, I brought back... An old solid wood wall shelf. Its front is decorated with a very beautiful straw marquetry in perfect condition dimensions: width: 41.5 cm height: 60 cm depth: 29 cm straw marquetry decoration: height: 21 cm - width: 25 cm note: straw marquetry is one of the most beautiful french finishes of the art deco period having been used to create decorative objects, wall panels or even furniture. Rye straw is harvested in early summer and autumn, then dyed. Each piece of straw is applied by hand which makes each piece unique the technique requires a lot of talent and above all a lot of patience.
