Please excuse us for the inability of the people at Selency who do not capitalize proper names!! Kohn armchair n°715, design by Gustave Siegel, model proven in 1899. The construction of the 715 is easily recognizable by its front legs which are the extension of the top of the backrest, in use from 1900 to 1940, always very popular. Thank you Mr. Siegel who was then only 20 years old! Excellent condition of cabinetwork. Mahogany shellac supported. single piece of wood, it is the archetype of a whole series of armchairs and benches at Kohn and Thonet-Mu The current upholstery is in good condition and clean. However our upholsterer can reupholster this armchair with genuine Backhausen fabrics. Choice of up to 5 patterns possible (Hoffmann, Prutscher). Upon request, I will send the available Backhausen fabrics and the overall upholstery quote. Remarkable original brass feet. Seat height: 47 cm, total height: 80 cm, depth: 53 cm, width: 55 cm. A protective fabric on the back of the seat prevents us from mounting the stamp. More photos and information upon request. Shipping to France and Europe or collection in Alsace.
