Stylish wall lamp attributed to the renowned Louis Kalff for Phillips in the early 1960s. A minimalist square wall lamp. Made of powder-coated folded metal sheets. The base can be removed from the front for installation and replacement of the bulb. Louis Christiaan Kalff is a Dutch graphic artist and designer from the 20th century. He is one of the pioneers of industrial design. Kalff is the designer of the iconic and timeless Z table lamp, which was manufactured by Philips in 1955. He is responsible for the success of the famous appliance company's series of lamps. Broken white and light blue original colour. So beautiful and stylish. It has some patina/signs of wear, but it is not crooked and no parts are missing; it is a masterpiece. There are paint residues on the suspension (you mount it by finding two long screws that go through the pre-drilled holes in the suspension and into the wall). DIMENSIONS Length: 20 cm Height: 20 cm Depth: 15 cm A bulb is included in the price (uses standard European E26 or E27 bulbs). Packaged securely and shipped with insurance.
