Usual and decorative production, this pretty ceramic pitcher is a piece full of finesse and delicacy. The beige white enamel reveals the earth in places, and emphasizes the sensuality and material of the ceramics. Size:  Diameter 11cm. Height 13cm. Jeanne and norbert pierlot are a couple of potters who marked the history of french ceramics after the war. Student of eugène lion in saint amand en puisaye, jeanne meets norbert pierlot. The two married and acquired the château de ratilly, which became a mecca for post-war french ceramics. Many renowned interns and ceramists such as georges jouves will follow one another. The pierlot couple will have an important and impressive production of usual parts, dishes and pitchers. Essentially with white and beige minimalist enamels on chamotted lands, highlighting the brutality and original character of the material with its heterogeneity. Their ceramics exude a unique and wild sensual character.
