Very beautiful glazed ceramic pitcher in milk chocolate color with a finely executed decoration, composed of drips of different colors (ecru, caramel, black and blue). These motifs are typical of trojan ceramics (sometimes written troyan, troyon or trojan), a region in the balkans (bulgaria today). These patterns differ slightly depending on the craftsman who made them, because each had its own pattern that served as a signature. This pitcher probably dates from the 50s to 70s. It can be used in decoration but also for food use because it is very clean inside and its large opening allows it to be easily cleaned. It is in good condition for its age, no crack, enamelling little cracked, just a small lack on the surface of the enamelling on the edge of the opening of the pitcher, little visible (see close-up photo of the edge). It measures 21 cm in height, 11 cm in diameter, 17 cm in width handle and spout included and weighs about 1 kg. I have other troyan ceramic items in my shop, you can see them by clicking on "see other items from this seller", and if you want to order several troyan items or not, you can contact me before ordering to negotiate prices and for me to adjust shipping costs in case of bulk shipping.
