Rearview mirror with black metal frame, 1950

1940 rearview mirror, with painted iron frame - square section tubes - good condition consistent with age and use - the mirror's tin is patinated (photo "sky") - the finish of the frame has partly lost its gold which can be seen around the glass - presence of surface corrosion on the frame - black finish restored. Nice general patina - the production is marked by materials and techniques reminiscent of matégot. The glass is easy to remove. Presence of eyelets for hanging.
