Scandinavian writing basket in wood 1960

Scandinavian writing sewing basket dating from the 1960s consisting of four feet of conical wood and ending with a gold metal skate with a beautiful patina, a rectangular box opening on the front thanks to its black metal handle and allowing to open the wooden box to create a work shelf, as well as a low recess and an adjustable top shelf with the four cleats to store any type of documents or other office items. Solid and very stable, this secretary attaches himself to the wall with the help of the two squares: this piece of furniture can stand on its own but will not support the support of the elbows on the tablet when used. In teak-coloured wood plating, several varnishes, stripes and traces of time are present on the box. We washed them all away with a turpentine dye and then waxed with antique wax to give it a second life.
