Space Age Table Lamp Elmetto – Martinelli Luce, 1976

Unique space age table lamp ‘Elmetto’, designed in 1976 by Italian designer Elio Martinelli and produced by Martinelli Luce. An iconic design still appreciated in the world of Italian design. The lamp is made of black plastic and features a funnel-shaped base containing the original built-in switch. From the base, the design extends to the spherical lampshade, adjustable with an axis. This allows the lampshade to diffuse light directly or indirectly depending on the desired atmosphere. Inside the lampshade is a reflector that ensures a soft and even distribution of light. The large socket (E27) makes the lamp compatible with an LED bulb. The Elmetto has been carefully cleaned and technically checked. Light signs of use corresponding to its age are visible, but this does not detract from its elegant appearance. The lamp is in good condition and ready to be used immediately.
