Vintage French Bronze Classic Empire Style Single Wall Sconce

Vintage French bronze traditional empire style wall light. The back plate has a traditional empire shape with decorative detailing. From the back plate comes a single scrolled arm with acanthus detailing leading to a decorative cup style candle holder. The candle drip is of the hard plastic type and in good condition. The light works and is wired with French twin core wiring and takes 2 x small e14 screw type bulbs. The bronze has a lovely aged patina, verdigris and marks associated with age. It has been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on the finish.
