Armchair n°b93, Thonet ca, 1920. the Thonet armchair n°B93 is attributed by its design to Gustave Siegel by the very fact that the part that forms the front legs, the armrests and the backrest is made of a single piece of arched wood; Fundamental feature of the 712, 715, 716 etc models... A first version of this model with square section appears in the catalog of 1904, then in 1906 arrives another version with round section. From 1920 (n°6093) until 1930 comes out a version equipped with brackets at the junction of the seat and the front feet, a priori only round section. Here we have the version manufactured between 1920 and 1922, with round section with the tanned seat, the caning is new, in rattan cane of 2.4 mm X 2.4mm (SR work) Height: 78 cm- width tt: 56 cm -depth: 55 cm- seat height: 47.5 cm. Height at armrests: 74 cm-- seated: 48x51. Blond shade called "natural beech" under shellac. . Woodworking and perfect stability. We can graciously equip this chair with screwed skates (origin Germany), adapted by their material to the coating of the room where it will be used. Work done after purchase.
