Etched glass vase with nautical theme from Strömbergshyttan, Sweden

A handblown and etched vintage art glass vase with a nautical or sailing theme, designed by Asta Strömberg from the prestigious Strömbergshyttan, Sweden. This vase features simple decoration: on one side, a stylized sailing boat in waves is precisely etched, and on the other, three flying seagulls, together forming a sea journey. The design is simple yet striking, sleek, elegant, and sophisticated, especially with the pale blue colour of the crystal glass, a special type for which Strömbergshyttan is renowned. The vase is 22 cm high and about 18 cm in diameter, has a triangular shape, and is in great condition with some micro abrasions underneath, but overall is a fantastic piece.
