Superb designer armchair from the famous Swedish brand SWEDESE, launched in 1945 by the Ekström brothers and their associate Sjöqvist, which has established itself as a reference in the Scandinavian Modernism movement, now globally recognised. Beyond its very successful appearance, this blue leather armchair is extremely comfortable. Sitting in it is a pleasure as it envelops without constraining, and supports without forcing. The outward-flared armrests offer the same type of non-restrictive comfort. The headrest is removable and very slightly adjustable in height. It rests on a very stylish base with its open legs and rotates smoothly without any snag. The leather is original (from the 70s), in a very deep and subtle shade. The seat is in excellent condition, and apart from a few usual signs of wear, it is in superb condition overall. The Swedese brand is displayed on a label sewn on the side as well as under the removable seat cushion.
