Mado Seguin buffet

Mado sideboard with 2 levels in seguin brand oak made in vendée in the 50s to 70s (stamp representing a goat in the right niche level door). Renowned brand which manufactured modern style furniture from the 50s and 60s with clean lines and natural wood or varnished veneer. Wood sanded and treated against xylophages. Oak structure (rear side pine). Doors and side panels surround solid oak and oak veneer in the center. The colored areas are dressed in 2-tone little green paint: "muscovado" (terracotta color) and "bath stone (soft sand color). The canework of the doors and the niche is new with a rattan cord finish. Origin in balatum dressed in the "muscovado" tone and glazed with the satin varnish of the nordin brothers. The low side shelves have been replaced by solid oak veneered wood shelves. The central low shelf is in original painted balatum with its aluminum finishing strip, also original. For the upper shelves, the edge has a pretty marquetry pattern. Interior background decorated with "giverny gardens" motif wallpaper. The fittings and door knobs come from other mados. The handles of the large drawers are original and painted pewter color from libéron. The bottoms of the 2 small drawers are covered in “terrazzo” linoleum. Possibility of separating the top and bottom. Dimensions lower part 165x101x45 cm dimensions upper part 157x82x35 cm.
