Original advertisement for burgundy wines illustrated by pierre-laurent brenot, nicknamed the "father of the french pin-up". Fashion designer (Dior, fashionable. ), poster artist (lido. ), portraitist (notably arletty), he was also a renowned painter, winning the gold medal at the french artists' fair in 1966. In 1996, a major retrospective was devoted to him at la bibliothèque forney in Paris, on the occasion of the release of the book brenot affichiste, published by the cultural agency of Paris.
